| 中文描述 | 組織漿菌HISTOPLASMA CAPSULATUM在狗貓很少引起疾病，在狗卻是常見的真菌性疾病，幼犬容易感染。在局部的區域起初會造成局部的感染。腸胃道及眼睛感染，骨髓炎也可見。可由組織切片，微生物培養，或是從宿主收集病材，連續補體固定的力價測定，偽陽性可能出現。土毛菌 GEOTRICHUM CANDIDUM在狗會引起類似的症狀，在組織切片中很難與CANDIDA HISTOPLASMA區分。 |

| 英文描述 | HISTOPLASMA CAPSULATUM is a rare cause of disease in dogs and cats, yet is the most common systemic fungal disease of dogs. Young dogs are more susceptible. It usually appears as a primary respiratory infection in endemic areas. Gastrointestinal or ocular infection and osteomyelitis also occur. Dx is by culture or demonstration of the organism in biopsy or other material taken from the host, or by serial complement- fixation titers; false negative and false positive titers may occur. The fungus GEOTRICHUM CANDIDUM has caused a similar syndrome in dogs; the organism is difficult to distinguish from CANDIDA or HISTOPLASMA in histologic sections. |
